American Native Babe Sacheen Littlefeather
Any of you remember her? Her main claim to fame in the mainstream back in '73 was being the spokesman for Marlon Brando when he refused his Oscar. She was allowed to make some comments at the podium after they tried to give her the award, but not give the whole rather LONG speech she had written out to read. She did a spread for Hef and the Bunny Mag that came out the same year. She was a dedicated advocate for American Native rights. She passed away a couple of years ago in 2022.
